Some wondered about Gaster’s metaphorical bonecage and where and when it started, and to an extent he’s always put up walls between himself and others, he can’t help it. Emotional intimacy is terrifying and embarrassing! But before the project got underway, certain people could get past those walls relatively easily once they knew how.

He probably feels the most at ease being healed by Alphys.

Back when he could heal, he was fairly okay at healing her in return when the situation arose, although he was never a great healer by any means.

(1/2) These might seem a tad random/irrelevant, but it’s been screwing with me for a while. There was that one monster in Grillbys who confirms that monster food does not pass through the entire body. No one has eaten human food for a long time, since they were all trapped underground. So, my question is how does Papyrus (who has never been on the surface) know what a bathroom is when he uses it as an excuse during pacifist outside Undyne’s house, and how does Undyne not question it?

(undertale spoilers)

The “bathroom” is actually mentioned by Jerry, Papyrus, and Alphys. Sans also sells tickets made of toilet paper at Shyren’s concert in Waterfall. Basically, there is no consistency on the use of bathrooms in undertale.

Given that Papyrus does not have hair or skin, it’s possible he has read that this is the sensation one feels when driving in a car. He mentions driving down a “HIGHWAY,” which he shouldn’t know what that is.

It’s known that Sans reads car magazines, so it’s possible Papyrus has read these as well.

Even if he has heard about the sensation of feeling the “SUN ON MY SKIN,” Papyrus hasn’t ever seen the sun before.

As for how Sans would know what the sun looks like, it is likely that he was a scientist. Sans also has a love of space.
