Oh that’s very cool! I actually had to read it for a course specializing in 19th century female literature. But then I did a queer reading for it for another class where I argued the narrator ❤ Rebecca. I think I did a fairly good job of it, considering I managed to get over 4,000 words for the essay, lol

Yeah, I enjoyed it! It’s similar to Jane Eyre in a lot of ways, but still manages to be its own individual work set in a more modern setting. Additionally, it’s so popular that it’s apparently never bee out of print! Which is pretty incredible, all things considered.
