I have to imagine that there are certain caves in the Underground full of enormous crystals, and that Sans and Papyrus like to take walks through them sometimes.
I still love Undertale so much.
(maybe click on this to see it better, it does not look great scaled down on my dash)
im wondering about how humanity, despite everything, is still associated with goodness in undertale?
in a genocide route, flowey says you’re not really a human. sans asks you to continue pretending to be a human for his brother. undyne can tell that you aren’t just going after monsters, but humans too. asgore can’t even recognize you as a human and asks what sort of monster you are.
even though the humans trapped the monsters underground, and by all means have done terrible things, humanity still has some sort of inherent goodness associated with it, and killing people results in a loss of that humanity.
